Filter a list and save the view

Every list page has a filter sidebar so you can narrow a list down to the contacts you want to work on, then save that combination as a view you can reapply in one click.

Filter a list

  1. Open Lists in the main navigation, then click a list (or All Leads for every contact).
  2. In the sidebar, under Filters, click a filter name to expand it.
  3. Tick one or more values. The table updates as you click.
  4. Combine as many filters as you need. Reset (n) next to Filters clears them all.

The available filters:

  • Added to a Pipeline: the names of your pipelines, or No for contacts in none of them.
  • Has a tag: tag names, or No for untagged contacts.
  • Relation / Conversation: Yes for contacts you are connected with on LinkedIn, No for the others.
  • Email source, Phone number, LinkedIn account: Yes or No, depending on whether the contact has an email address, a phone number or a LinkedIn profile.
  • Language: the language detected for the contact.
  • Job title: the job title at the contact's current company.
  • Number of connections: a minimum–maximum slider on the figure shown in the Connections column.
  • Profile title: the LinkedIn headline.
  • Location: type a city or region, pick a suggestion, then set the Distance (5 to 500 km, 50 km by default).
  • Company name: the contact's current company. This is how you see every contact from one account.

How filters combine

  • Values ticked inside one filter are alternatives: a contact matches if it has any of them.
  • Different filters add up: a contact must match every active filter.
  • Options come from the contacts of the list you are looking at, so you only see values that exist in it. When a filter has more than five values, a search box appears inside it.
  • With Location on, contacts whose location couldn't be placed on a map are left out.

The Search by name field above the filters narrows the table further. It looks in first name, last name, email, headline, location and company.

Save the view

As soon as a filter is active, a Saved views block appears at the top of the sidebar.

  1. Set up your filters.
  2. Under Saved views, click Save view.
  3. Type a name in View name and click Save.

The view now appears in the block, on every list page.

Use and maintain your views

  • Apply a view: click its name. A filled dot marks the active view.
  • Change a view: while a view is active, adjust the filters. Update view appears; click it to overwrite the saved filters.
  • Rename or delete: hover a view, click …, then Rename or Delete.

Good to know

  • A view stores filters only, not the text typed in the search field. Applying a view keeps your current search.
  • Views belong to you: teammates don't see them, and you can apply them on any list, including All Leads.
  • The filters are kept in the page address, so a bookmark or the browser's back button brings them back.
  • A saved view is not a list: a campaign can't use it as its audience. To act on the result, tick the header checkbox to select every contact shown, then use Bulk Actions, for example Add tags, and target that tag in the campaign's audience filters.
  • Export CSV at the top of the table downloads exactly the contacts shown after filtering (see Export contacts to CSV).
  • Lists have no ICP filter and no connection date filter. The ICP floor is set in the campaign's audience step.
