Find contacts in the Inbox network views

Besides your conversations, the Inbox sidebar gives you ready-made views of your whole network: everyone, your connections, the people you aren't connected with, contacts by tag and contacts by pipeline. This article describes what each view contains.

Open the views

Click Inbox in the main navigation. The sidebar on the left is organised in groups. This article covers My Network, Tags and Pipelines. Conversations and Invitations are described in How the inbox works.

My Network

  • All Members: every contact in your workspace that isn't archived. Three tabs narrow it down: All, Relations and Not relations.
  • Reminders: the contacts that have reminders, with All, To do, Future and Done tabs (see Set reminders to follow up).
  • Relations: the contacts you are connected with on LinkedIn.
  • Contacts: the contacts you aren't connected with.

Connection status is read from your own LinkedIn account. A contact can be in Relations for you and in Contacts for a teammate.

The title of each view shows how many contacts it contains.

Tags

  • No tag: contacts that aren't archived and have no tag yet.
  • Then one entry per tag, with its colour. Each opens the contacts carrying that tag. Hover a tag and click … to rename it, recolour it or delete it (see Organise contacts with tags).

Pipelines

One entry per pipeline you own (the group only appears once you have a pipeline). Each opens a table of that pipeline's contacts, all stages together. The icon next to the pipeline's name opens its board.

What every view lets you do

All these views share the same table:

  • Search with the bar at the top (Search by name, company, or message...). It also matches headlines, locations, notes and tags.
  • Read and change the essentials without opening the contact: the Tags, Pipeline, Notes and Reminder columns can be edited in place on a wide screen (Reminders shows the reminder itself instead).
  • Open a contact by clicking its row. The arrows at the top of the record then move through this view's contacts in order.
  • Select several contacts and use Bulk Actions (see Act on many contacts at once with bulk actions).
  • Export CSV the contacts shown (see Export contacts to CSV).

On a phone, rows are displayed as cards.

Good to know

  • Archived contacts are left out of All Members, Relations, Contacts and No tag. Their conversations remain under Conversations → Archived.
  • These views show every contact of the workspace, whatever list they belong to. To work on one list with detailed filters and saved views, use the Lists page instead (see Filter a list and save the view).
  • Pipelines are personal, so the Pipelines group only lists yours.
