Import LinkedIn suggestions on a schedule

LinkedIn keeps suggesting people you may know, based on your network. Swimlane can collect these suggestions into a list automatically.

Steps

Swimlane creates a list called "Suggested Contacts". The first run starts as soon as your virtual office hours allow.

Each run reads the suggestions LinkedIn shows you on its invitations page, one page at a time, and adds those people to the list.
Runs happen every 12 to 24 hours. The interval is drawn at random each time: a fixed rhythm is a typical sign of automation, and LinkedIn renews its suggestions slowly anyway, so checking more often would bring little.
Runs only take place during your virtual office hours. When an interval ends outside them, the run waits for the next opening.
People already in the list or in your contacts are not duplicated. An existing contact is simply added to this list.
The connection degree is saved on the contact when LinkedIn shows it.
New contacts count towards Daily imports. When the allowance is used up, the list shows Paused (limit) and the run tries again an hour later.

There is no review screen and no filter: everyone LinkedIn suggests goes into the list, relevant or not.
It doesn't send connection requests or messages. People are only added to your contacts.
It can't be run once on demand: this source only exists as a recurring import.

Treat the list as raw material. When you use it as the source of a campaign, switch on ICP match in the Audience step and choose High match or better, so only good fits are enrolled (see How ICP fit works).
Select promising contacts and use Enrich with LinkedIn. It adds the job title and About section that ICP matching reads, and confirms the connection degree, without which a Connection Request step skips the contact.
Every week or so, open the list and archive the people you'll never contact. Archived contacts never enter a campaign.
