Export or delete your data

Your contacts are yours. You can export them to a CSV file at any time, and you can permanently delete your Swimlane account.

Export your contacts to CSV

1. Open Lists and click All Leads to export every contact, or click a single list. The same export is available on the inbox pages that show a title, such as Messaging, All Members, a tag or a pipeline.
2. Narrow the rows if you want: use the filter sidebar of a list, the tabs, or the search field.
3. Click Export CSV at the top right of the page.

A file named contacts_export.csv downloads. It contains exactly the rows displayed at that moment, after filters and search.

What the file contains

One row per contact, with columns such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Company, Position, Headline, Location, Country, City, Language, Tags, Note, LinkedIn URL, Is Connected, Last Interaction, Last Contacted and Created At.

Messages, pipeline stages and reminders are not part of the export.

Good to know

• Export CSV is only available on a computer; it is hidden on small screens.
• The button label is in English in every language.
• To export automatically, for example into another CRM, use Swimlane's public API instead.

Delete your account

Before you start

• Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Open Settings → Manage Subscription and cancel in the Stripe portal (see Manage your subscription: invoices, card, plan changes and cancellation).
• Export what you want to keep. Nothing can be recovered afterwards.
• Remember what deletion is not. Reset Local Data only clears your browser's copy, and Disconnect LinkedIn only removes the LinkedIn connection. Neither deletes your account.

Steps

1. Open Settings and click Delete Account, in red at the bottom of the Account group.
2. Read the Danger Zone warning, then click Delete My Account.
3. In the Are you absolutely sure? window, type the confirmation text shown in the dialog. It starts with delete- followed by your name.
4. Click Delete my account permanently.

Your account is deleted and you are taken back to the sign-in page.

What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your user account and everything attached to it:

• the contacts, lists, pipelines, campaigns, tags, message templates, reminders and imports you created;
• your conversations synced from LinkedIn and your LinkedIn connection;
• your API tokens and webhooks.

What stays

• The workspace you belonged to, and its subscription if one is still running. Teammates keep their access to the workspace, but what you created is gone for them too.
• Your LinkedIn account itself: Swimlane only removes its connection to it. Your messages remain on LinkedIn.

Troubleshooting

• The Delete my account permanently button stays greyed out. The confirmation text must match exactly, in lowercase, with its hyphens.
• You cannot open Settings because your workspace has no active subscription. Contact the Swimlane team to have your account deleted.
• The Export CSV button is missing. Use a wider window or a computer, and wait for the list name to load at the top of the page.
